Every Disney Channel lover knows Miley Cyrus – the star of Disney’s newest show: Hannah Montana. In Hannah Montana, Miley plays Miley Stewart, a regular girl living a double life as tv’s biggest singing superstar.Earning the role as Disney’s new tv queen wasn’t easy. “All this work I’ve done my entire life is about to pay off“, Miley says. She’s not only refering to the audition, which started off with 1′000 girls, but also the dedication she’s put into singing and acting for several years.Being the daughter of a country & western star who crossed over to tv, Miley has also been taking parts as extra in her dad’s shows. Her most recent appearance was in an episode of his drama series “Doc”. She also played the role of Ruthie in “Big Fish” when she was 8.She’s been playing guitar and singing for a large part of her life, and she claims having written over 100 songs herself already. Miley records one new song for every episode of Hannah Montana, which will make over 20 songs by the end of the season. Mileys’ goal is to make the best show ever, and possibly releasing a Hannah Montana soundtrack, or even a Miley Cyrus album. Whether a soundtrack will be available or not, there’s no doubt Miley Cyrus will be releasing an album sooner or later, as she’s been signed to Hollywood Records for a 4 album deal.Entertainment president of Disney Channel, Gary Marsh, said Miley was chosen for the part of Hannah for her overflowing enthusiasm who seem to love every minute of her life, displayed in her performance and demeanor.Miley have five siblings: Christopher, Braison Chance, Noah Lindsey, Brandi and Trace. They live in Los Angeles with the dog Loco. The rest of the familys’ animals had to stay in their Tennessee home when they moved to LA in December 2005. Mileys enjoys shopping, especially for shoes. “I’m a big shoe person. Sometimes I’m punky, the next day I’m preppy. Every day after work, my mom and I go shopping. My dad is about to kill me. I say ‘We need it daddy!’“Her interests include dancing, cheerleading, singing, playing the guitar and writing music.
